New dedicated out-of-hours service in an independent hospital, 7 on 14 off . Have the opportunity from the beginning to shape its development!

We are looking for an experienced clinician to lead the night service, and two further ECC vets to take the reins of our dedicated OOH service. We are a modern hospital with 16 vets and 8 certicates between us. We have access to the best facilities including CT, DR radiography, doppler ultrasound, endoscopy (including paediatric bronchoscopy), multiparameter monitors, syringe drivers, blood gas and coagulation analysers. Everything you need to provide great ECC care. We have a culture of listening; your input and ideas really matter here. EMS students and visitors to the practice comment on how well all areas of the team get on; nobody is too busy or too important to stop and help.
About the role
● We provide OOH cover for our own clinics. We have a manageable caseload,
and you will have the time and the facilities to care for your cases to the best
of your abilities
● The rota is 7 nights on 14 days off : 7.15pm to 8.15am
● Salary of £50,000-£70,000 depending on experience plus great support with CPD
● A relocation package is available, and we may be able offer visa sponsorship

Expanding small animal independent practice requires additional colleagues:

Experienced vet with or wishing to study for medical or surgical certificate for hospital based role.

New or recent graduate

RVN or Final Year Student VN

Required at The Meopham Veterinary Hospital

The successful candidate will join our busy and friendly hospital of 28 nurses and 16 vets

across our main hospital and two branch practices.

Our practice has excellent facilities such as CT scanner, digital radiography, orthopaedic equipment, hydrotherapy and grooming. We are lucky enough to see a wide variety of cases with many of our vets and nurses studying for various certificates.

We are looking for an RVN with the desire to take on clinical coaching of trainee nurses, or a final year student wanting to progress into a larger and busier environment.

We can offer a great team and friendly environment, the opportunity to gain more experience with excellent equipment, as well as the opportunity to develop and progress

Receptionist

Required at the Sevenoaks Veterinary Surgery

The Sevenoaks Veterinary Surgery is a branch practice to The Meopham Veterinary Hospital where overall we have a team of 15 vets, 21 nurses and 6 receptionists.

We require a motivated and career driven receptionist to replace a long standing colleague who has been promoted. The candidate will join our team of three nurses and two vets at our practice in Sevenoaks. The candidate would be required to work 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday with 1:6 weekends and a lieu day provided for each weekend day worked.
