The Meopham Veterinary Hospital are expanding and are excited to announce the opening of a new surgery.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate RVN/final year student to work at our brand new branch, based in East Malling.

The applicant must be enthusiastic and customer focused.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about being in a new team of a new practice.

The East Malling practice will be the new sister site to four other existing branches making an overall team of 20 vets, 33 nurses and 7 receptionists.

Our main hospital has excellent facilities such as CT scanner, digital radiography, orthopaedic equipment, hydrotherapy and grooming. We are lucky enough to see a wide variety of cases with many of our vets and nurses studying for various certificates.

We can offer a great team and friendly environment, the opportunity to gain more experience with excellent equipment, as well as the opportunity to develop and progress.

Client Care Advisor Maternity Cover

Job Description:

Veterinary client care advisor required for maternity cover at The Swanscombe Veterinary Surgery.

Ideally we are looking for someone to start within the next couple of months to allow for training. The role is currently temporary and required only for the duration of maternity cover.

The successful applicant will have a passion for high standards of customer service and have the ability to multi task. Great communication skills, basic computer knowledge and confident manner on the telephone are vital for this position.

This is a full time position working 9.00am-6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Please note 1:6 weekends are part of this position, a lieu day is provided for each weekend day worked.

Salary is national minimum wage.

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Veterinary Nurse to join our team at the Meopham Veterinary Hospital.

The Meopham Veterinary Hospital is a busy practice with three other surgeries where overall we have a team of 20 vets, 33 nurses and 7 receptionists.

Our surgery has excellent facilities such as CT, digital radiography, ultrasound machine and hydrotherapy. We are lucky enough to see a wide variety of cases with many of our vets and nurses studying for various certificates.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting veterinary surgeons and nurses with clinical procedures and patient care
  • Preparing treatment rooms, surgical instruments, and medical supplies
  • Maintaining high levels of cleanliness
  • Handling administrative tasks

Skills

  • Prior veterinary experience is desirable but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is required
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals and clients
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Hours: 41 hours per week

8 hour shifts

1 in 6 weekends
