Auxiliary Nurse

The Meopham Veterinary Hospital is expanding and we are looking for a veterinary nursing auxiliary to join our busy and friendly team of vets, nurses and receptionists.

Ideally some veterinary or charity experience is preferred. We would also be happy to receive applications from nurses already in animal care assistant training.

The veterinary nursing auxiliary will work alongside our Inpatient Nurses to assist them with the management of patients and general daily kennel maintenance, as well as assisting with some theatre duties. There will also be reception shifts included in this role, therefore customer service skills are essential.

The opportunity to progress into veterinary nurse training is likely.
