As a practice it is our mission to provide compassionate, high quality care for our patients on a continuous basis. As an RCVS certified Small Animal Practice connected to our RCVS certified Veterinary Hospital, our nursing staff are on site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to care for in-patients (based at our Meopham Hospital). This means that if your pet is ever admitted to the hospital, he or she will never be alone during their stay with us.
My Miniature Dachshund Poppy had a serious back trauma injury. After cage rest the Queen Mother Hospital recommended treadmill hydrotherapy to strengthen her hind legs and build up the muscles. I came to see Amy for 10 sessions and it is the best physiotherapy that she could have had. The improvement in her walking is unbelievable and Amy and her team are all so dedicated to giving the best treatment for Poppy. Thank you Amy for all of your hard work in getting my little mate back to normal.
Our Springer Spaniel, Poppy, ruptured her cruciate ligament and hydrotherapy was recommended to assist with her recovery after her surgery. We got on with Amy from day one, she was extremely professional, very friendly, approachable and happy to explain everything. It was obvious to us from the start that Amy was good at her job and knew what she was talking about. We were very impressed with the set-up of the hydro room and the tank itself and also the cleanliness of the whole room and waiting area in general. In summary both my partner and I were more than happy with the service received at The Meopham Veterinary Hospital from the cheery ladies on reception to Amy who always greeted us with a smile!
Thank you for the wonderful kindness you have shown us for Kitkat's care, we are so very grateful. We have been so impressed, not only with the wonderful care Kitkat received but also by the professionalism and the compassion we have witnessed from all of your staff. During my many visits to Kitkat when she was an inpatient I have seen the dedication of the team and how wonderful all the staff are with patient's and their owners. I would not hesitate in recommending Meopham Veterinary Hospital to others as it truly offers a first class service to patient's and their humans!
Lexi, our Border Collie, damaged a ligament in her shoulder. She endured 12 weeks of cage rest followed by 10 weekly sessions of hydrotherapy. From being initially afraid of the water she now loves the hydrotherapy, and of course Amy. Lexi has now returned to her former self with no sign of her lameness. We would recommend hydrotherapy to others.
Thank you Martin for giving my cat Molly another chance. You and all your team have been very kind and helpful and I'd like you to be assured of my gratitude.
Veterinary hospitals are few and far between and we are blessed by living near by. Alfie was registered at another practice but they did not provide a Sunday service. I came here out of necessity and found a heartfelt welcome with understanding at reception and by senior staff which put me at ease. I recommend the services provided to animal lovers. Many thanks go to all who had any part in Alfie's hospitalisation.
George's hydrotherapy was very beneficial, George loved his sessions with Amy. She made the whole experience easy and enjoyable for George.
Thank you for the ongoing care we receive from your staff, especially Tim. As you know we run a small rescue and have been very busy with Equines in this area over the past few years. These animals are difficult to treat as we have no history on them. Your vets always listen to what we have to say which allows us to work together and have almost 100% positive results. Having vets at my side i can trust gives me the confidence to carry on with the work we do at Spirits Rest.
I wanted to let you know how grateful we are that Archie was treated by Pippa and the team at your Sevenoaks & Meopham branches. Their level of care and commitment was second to none and clearly contributed significantly towards his recovery, for which we are truly grateful.
Thank you all on behalf of ESSW for the wonderful care and superb treatment that Eesha has received over the last weeks. She is such a lovely girl and truly deserved every bit of it!
Freddie has completed 10 hydrotherapy sessions following TPLO surgery to repair his ruptured cruciate ligament. Freddie is now back to his normal self and has regained his strength which exceeded all our expectations. He has suffered with bad skin for years and we were worried that the sessions would have a detrimental effect however his skin has never been better! He now enjoys coming into the vets and he adores hydrotherapist Amy! We are thrilled with his progress and would thoroughly recommend hydrotherapy to others.
We have had a course of 10 hydrotherapy sessions for our Golden Retriever, Ruby, and cannot speak too highly of how good they have been and would recommend to anyone.
A big thank you for looking after our pets over the years, all 22 of them! We think you can all perform miracles. In sad times the impossible cannot always we done but you have all given us the strength and helped us to cope once again. Thank you all.
Thank you for your special care and dedication during and following Perdi's recent operation. The kindness shown by all helped us through this difficult time.
I have been bringing my dog to hydrotherapy for over a month now and the difference in her is amazing. She jumped up at me to say hello last week for the first time in years, she takes the stairs two at a time and is able to play more with me again. I would definitely recommend it.
Lyra, my 9 year old GSD, has been coming for hydrotherapy on a regular basis for the arthritis in her legs and spine. She shows a remarkable improvement and enjoys her sessions. Thoroughly recommend it!
Receptionist staff are always friendly and helpful. Martin is very thorough and communicates fully. I highly recommend his service as he always puts your animals care first and is very friendly.
Excellent standards in all respects. I always feel that my dog is especially well cared for.
Very pleased with all the staff and the care for my dog.
Excellent service of care for our dog which is the most important factor.
Absolutely first class care, always.
I have been a client, with my various dogs, since 1999 and can honestly say that I have been totally satisfied with Meopham Vets throughout this time. The care and consideration shown to our dogs has been amazing. I usually try to see Martin as I have known him so long, but I have no objection to seeing any of the vets as they all have the same qualities, especially Bruce. The nurses are all wonderful and over the years I have become close to some of them and have watched as they have developed their careers under the guidance of Martin. The reception / office staff are brilliant too and I have never had a problem getting appointments. The out of hours service is second to none. My dogs throughout their lives have been looked after and loved by all the staff and when it has come to the final goodbyes they and I have been treated with amazing sensitivity and kindness. In a nutshell, I could not recommend this practice highly enough.
Service is always the best. Everyone cares for your pet as if it's their own.
Brilliant service, Belle loves coming here!
Great skills, great care, great service and understanding.
Very happy with the service provided.
Thank you to all at Meopham Veterinary Hospital for looking after Ted & Hector as well as if they were your own puppies. I always know that they will get the best care, and am sure Ted would not be here at all if it weren't for you guys. Ted & Hector are the light of our lives, so your exemplary care of them is, to us, priceless. Thank you.
For Bruce, Martin, nurses & receptionists, I can't thank you enough for all the care you have taken with Hattie (and me). You have all been so helpful & supportive to us both.
To all pet owners looking for the very best in vet advice and care then book your pet in here, we have used The Swanscombe & Meopham Surgeries since 2006 after re-homing our Sophie from Cats Protection & the rest of her life was never free from health problems. When Sophie had to stay in at the vets I visited her daily & the cages were spotless, clean blankets & nurses on continual attendance. We can't say enough about all the staff, they treated her like a part of their family.
Words cannot express our gratitude to you all for all the love & care you gave to Remi. We know he loved you all.
Thank you so much for the care and attention you gave to Barney during his recent illness. It was all so much appreciated.
I would like to thank the vet Bruce McLeary, and all the nurses at Meopham vets for all their quick and caring response, to my bitch Misty who had an emergency caesarian today and looked after my bitch and her pups fantastically thank you to you all
